| Feature | Browser extension | RSS or Atom feed | Newsletter inbox |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | One page you are reading now | A publication with a public feed | Email newsletters |
| Added by | Clicking the extension | Adding a public feed URL | Subscribing with a private Relay address |
| Trigger | You choose Add or Send EPUB | A reading-list schedule or Run now | A reading-list schedule or Run now |
| Content used | The current public article | New feed entries; linked articles may enrich summaries | Sanitized newsletter HTML |
| First scheduled edition | The captured page is already selected | Latest existing feed entry | Latest existing observed message |
| Later editions | Captures added since the last edition | Entries newer than that list's cursor | Messages newer than that list's cursor |
| Private or login-only content | Not supported | Not supported | Supported only when the newsletter is actually received by your Relay inbox |
| X support | Public X Articles only | Not applicable unless supplied by a valid feed | Newsletter content only |
Each reading list maintains its own cursor. The same feed or newsletter can therefore appear in two independently scheduled lists without one list consuming the other's entries.

The product currently exposes Free, Basic, and Pro billing tiers. A public feature-and-limit matrix is not listed yet because concrete creation limits and tier-specific switches are not enforced in the current release. Until that policy is published, the authenticated Billing page is the source of truth for configured prices and subscription status—not for promised feature limits.
