Approve the Kindle sender

Allow relay@ereaderrelay.com to deliver personal documents to your Kindle.

Amazon accepts Send to Kindle email only from addresses on your Approved Personal Document Email List. Add relay@ereaderrelay.com before asking eReader Relay to send a book.

Add the sender in Amazon

  1. Open Manage Your Content and Devices and sign in to the Amazon account that owns your Kindle.
  2. Open Preferences.
  3. Open Personal Document Settings.
  4. Find Approved Personal Document Email List.
  5. Select Add a new e-mail address.
  6. Enter relay@ereaderrelay.com exactly.
  7. Select Add Address.

Amazon's wording and page layout can vary by country. If the direct link opens the wrong storefront, sign in through your regional Amazon site and navigate to the same Personal Document Settings section. Amazon also maintains an official approved-sender guide.

Find your Kindle delivery address

In the same Personal Document Settings section, find the personal document email address assigned to the intended Kindle or app. Copy that exact address into the eReader Relay Devices form.

Do not enter your normal Amazon sign-in email. Each Kindle destination can have its own delivery address.

Test the connection

  1. Return to Devices in eReader Relay.
  2. Open the Kindle device.
  3. Send the test EPUB.
  4. Keep the Kindle connected to the internet and allow time for Amazon to process it.

If it does not arrive, confirm both email addresses character for character, then follow Device and delivery troubleshooting.

Amazon controls its own attachment limits, processing, and delivery. Its current Send to Kindle help lists EPUB as supported and explains the provider-side requirements in Learn How to Use Your Send to Kindle Email Address.
